I completed an intensive six–week leadership immersion (designed and delivered by the Wonderful Learning & Operational Development team) alongside new managers from Fiji Water, POM Wonderful, Halo Oranges, Wonderful Pistachios, Teleflora, and other subsidiaries. The class met twice weekly for three hour workshops, blending best-practice instruction and hands-on exercises to develop critical management competencies, including:

  • Unbiased decision-making and inclusive leadership
  • Strategic delegation and goal-setting communication
  • Conflict resolution techniques and HR escalation protocols
  • Team motivation frameworks and performance coaching

Beyond tactical skills, the curriculum emphasized the shift from “boots on the ground” execution to a macro-level, strategic mindset, empowering us to align day-to-day operations with overarching business objectives and drive sustained growth across the organization.

Integrated New Project Management Software

Optimizing Inter-Business Unit Communication

I identified that our front-end developers on JIRA and Support team on InContact were operating in silos, which led to duplicated work and delayed hand-offs. To unify our process, and bring the Onboarding team into the fold, I led a full migration to Trello:

  • Discovery & Board Design:

    Conducted workshops with Development, Support, and Onboarding leads to map existing workflows, surface pain points, and define board structures that mirror our project lifecycle.

  • Custom Workflow Templates:

    Built Trello boards with standardized card templates, labels, checklists, and due-date fields to create clear ownership and accountability for every task.

  • Training & Documentation:

    Rolled out hands-on training sessions and a living "Trello Playbook," empowering teams to adopt best practices and encouraging consistent usage.

  • Metrics & Iteration:

    Tracked adoption and performance, achieving 100% team adoption within six weeks, while cutting average ticket resolution times by 30% and reducing the overall onboarding process time by 23%.

By consolidating task management into a single, visual platform, we eliminated communication roadblocks, improved cross-team visibility, and established a scalable collaboration framework that accelerated project delivery and fostered stronger inter-unit alignment.

Created Lunch & Learn Series

Learning from the Experts

I designed and launched the eFlorist Lunch & Learn series in response to Support-team feedback seeking deeper insight into our broader business units. Each quarter, I organized a one-hour session with a subject-matter expert, starting with my deep-dive on the end-to-end custom-template process, best practices for suggesting templates, and pricing strategies. Subsequent sessions featured our Outside Marketing Manager on Birdeye review management, the Partner Marketing Manager on ecommerce SEO tactics and pitfalls, and our POS Manager on seamless point-of-sale integrations.

By creating a structured forum for cross-functional knowledge sharing, the program:

  • Equipped Support reps with actionable insights to resolve customer inquiries more efficiently
  • Strengthened collaboration between Support, Marketing, Product, and Engineering
  • Cultivated a culture of continuous learning and interdepartmental alignment

This initiative not only improved team confidence and service quality but also fostered stronger ties across the organization.

Building Better Solutions Together

I spearheaded two War on Waste (WOW) initiatives; lean, cross-functional sprints designed to tackle real pain points in just 4–6 weeks.

  • Demo Site for Sales Enablement

    I assembled a team of Sales, UX, and Engineering stakeholders to design and launch an accessible, keyword-optimized demo website. Rigorous WCAG compliance testing and SEO tuning gave our Sales team a polished, compliant showcase tool that boosted conversion rates in customer presentations.

  • External Marketing Site for Demand Generation

    Partnering with our Marketing and Content teams, we rapidly developed a public-facing site focused on high-value keywords and SEO best practices. After accessibility audits and performance optimizations, the new site drove a measurable uptick in organic traffic and qualified leads.

By guiding these collaborative projects from discovery through delivery, I not only removed efficiency roadblocks but fostered stronger alignment across business units, demonstrating how rapid focused improvements deliver an outsized impact.
